RUSPER MODEL RAILWAY CLUB
© Rusper MRC 2016
Made With Serif WebPlus.
The Club exists to operate a 'OO' gauge model railway based on prototypical British Railways practice 1948 to 1964. Meetings are monthly on a Sunday, in all weathers - see the 'Meeting Dates' page for our Operating Dates. At the meetings we operate the Railway according to a timetable based on real time.
There are 11 stations and trains are signalled between stations using bell codes based on BR practice.
I. Unsure about modelling, or simply can’t be bothered? Worry not, we have already done all that
Ii. Fed up with the cramped environment of a loft or spare room? We have the answer. Allow your favourite loco's to stretch their legs with a full length train and recreate fond memories
Iii. Meets once a Month, so there's no need to drastically change your lifestyle
Iv. Very reasonable subscription, considering every thing is laid on for you - no need to even own your own rolling stock
v. Get away from cutting the lawn or visiting in-laws
vi. Rivet counting skills not needed, but sense of humour essential!
vii. Be the master of your own Station or Signal box and learn genuine railway skills
viii. Meet like minded people, from a variety of different background - some legal!
ix. All ages (over 18yrs) and interests catered for, through steam and early (non blue) diesel traction
X. Relaxed atmosphere, easy to find and with parking and bus routes nearby.
