Tilgate and Rusper stations - Shed 6

Tilgate is the last stop before reaching the northern terminus. Passengers here have four platforms with half of platform 3 serving the ‘Up’ branch line and the other half as a terminating bay on the branch. There are relief lines on the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ main lines.

The ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ branch lines pass through platforms 3 and 4 respectively and then merge into a single line to the terminus at Rusper. The ‘Up’ yard has two facing and two trailing sidings whereas the ‘Down’ yard is limited to two sidings with a third leading off from the head shunt.
