Operational interest includes ‘Up’ trains from Prestwood and Russ Hill, ‘Down’ trains from Rusper on the ‘Down’ main or the single line branch, termination of some ‘Up’ branch trains, shunting goods and parcels stock, stabling or division of various block freights and passenger stock, pick up goods and making up new parcels trains.
